William Elvin Tucker  (1901 ~ 1973)

 

9.5.4. Fourth child of Elizabeth M. Adams and George E. Tucker, William 'Elvin' Tucker, was born June 15, 1901, in Haldimand Twp., Northumberland Co., Ontario.

  He married Grace Alberta Darling, daughter of Percy Roy Darling and Nellie Beatrice Van Blaricomb, October 1, 1932, in Toronto, York Co., Ontario.

 

  W. Elvin Tucker died October 11, 1973, aged 72 years and Grace A. Darling Tucker died November 8, 1970, aged 59 years in Cobourg, Ontario and are interred at Cobourg Union Cemetery.

W. Elvin Tucker

Elvin Tucker at the Cobourg General Hospital on Thursday, October 11, 1973, in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of the late Grace, dear brother of Arthur of Listowel and late Milford of Plainville. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Service was conducted by Rev. G. I. Mundle at the Jewell Funeral Home, 301 Division St., Cobourg on Saturday, October 13. Interment  Cobourg Union Cemetery. The Casket Bearers were Bob Crane, Clarence Ash, Joe Horley, George Cortesis, Peter Provost, Andy Anderson. Cobourg Sentinel-Star, Oct. 17, 1973.

 

Grace A. Darling Tucker

August 31, 1909 ~ November 8, 1970

At the Cobourg General Hospital on Sunday, November 8, 1970, Grace Alberta Darling beloved wife of William Elvin Tucker of Cobourg, and dear sister of John and Van Darling of Morganston.  Service was held at the Templer Funeral Home, Cobourg on Tuesday, November 10 at 2 p.m. Interment was in Cobourg Union Cemetery. Cobourg Sentinel-Star, Nov. 11, 1970.
