9.6.2.2. Second child of Jennie L. Spear and Wilbert R. Macklin, Marguerite Annie Macklin, was born March 15, 1924, in Fenella, Haldimand Twp., Northumberland Co., Ontario.

 

  Marguerite A. Macklin died April 3, 2004, aged 80 years, in Smiths Falls, Ontario and is interred at Macklin’s Cemetery.

Marguerite A. Macklin

At her residence, Smiths Falls, on Saturday, April 3, 2004, Marguerite Macklin in her 81st year. Beloved daughter of the late Jennie (Spear) and Wilbert Macklin. Loved sister of Harol (Clara), George (Zeita) and Sidney (Janet). Also survived by four nieces, four nephews and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends were received at the Blair and Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls, on Wednesday. Funeral service was held in the Free Methodist Church, Smiths Falls, on Thursday, April 8, 2004 at 11 a.m. Interment Macklin Cemetery, Roseneath, at a later date. In remembrance, donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Gideon’s would be appreciated. Smiths Falls Record- News, Apr. 9, 2004.
