7.6. Sixth child of Peter Glowaski and Martha Strychalski, Kathleen Glowaski, was born January 7, 1923, in Oshawa, Ontario.
She married Michael Daniel Kolynko, son of George Kalynko and Polunia Cupryk, January 27, 1940, in Oshawa, Ontario and had two children:

Kathleen Glowaski Kolynko died April 6, 1990, aged 67 years and Michael D. Kolynko died December 23, 2007, aged 95 years in Oshawa, Ontario and are interred at St. Gregory’s Catholic Cemetery.

At the Oshawa General Hospital on Friday, April 6, 1990. Kathleen Kolynko, nee Glowaski, in her 68th year. Beloved wife of Michael Kolynko of Oshawa. Daughter of Mrs. Martha Glowaski of Oshawa. Mother of Mike Jr. and Mary Fitters of Oshawa and George and daughter-in-law Maureen of Belleville. Sister of Anne Pihan of Toronto, Beatrice Smegal of Michigan, U.S.A., Teany Boyar and Mary Mothersill, Rose Dale and Marjorie Diskey, all of Oshawa, Paul Grant of Janetville, Mike Glowaski and Tom Grant of Oshawa and Peter of Marmora. Grandmother of Tamara of Napanee and Shannon and Shawn of Belleville. Resting at Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King St., East Oshawa, with funeral service in the Chapel on Tuesday, April 10 at 10 a.m. Interment St. Gregory’s Cemetery. Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 7:30 p.m. Memorial donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Oshawa Times, Apr. 9, 1990.

Michael Kolynko (G.M. Retiree) passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, on Sunday, December 23, 2007 at the age of 95. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen (1990). Loving father of Michael Kolynko Jr., (Maryann) and George Kolynko (Maureen). Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Tamara Dube (Don), Shannon Kolynko (Chris), Shawn Kolynko (Ashley), his great grandchildren Brock and Riddick. Predeceased by his brothers John, Joe and Bill and his sister Mary all of Oshawa. Resting at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King St. East with Order of Funeral Rite at the funeral home on Friday December 28, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Internment St. Gregory’s Cemetery.
