Rose Glowaski  (1935 ~ 2024)

 

7.13. Thirteenth child of Peter Glowaski and Martha Strychalski, Rose Glowaski, was born January 3, 1935, in Oshawa, Ontario.

  She married Robert McClimond Dale, son of Alexander Dale and Mary, April 24, 1954, in Oshawa, Ontario

 

 Rose Glowaski Dale died February 26, 2024, aged 89 years and Robert M. Dale died October 18, 1993 aged 65 years in Oshawa, Ontario and are interred at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Rose Glowaski Dale

1935 ~ 2024

Suddenly and peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Monday, February 26, 2024, Rose Dale, in her 90th year went to be with her Lord and Saviour. Beloved wife of the late Robert Dale. Dear daughter of the late Peter Glowaski and Martha Strychalski. Predeceased by sisters, Anne Pihan, Beatrice Smegal, Kathleen Kolynko, Teany Boyar, Mary Mothersill, Marjorie Diskey and brothers, Phillip, Paul, Michael, Tom, and Peter. Fondly remembered by brothers-in-law Reggie, Norman (Marjorie), and David Dale and sister-in-law Helen Dale of Banbridge, Northern Ireland. Will be sadly missed by brother-in-law Frank Diskey. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews in Canada, the United States and Northern Ireland. Very special Aunt to Ron (Bridget), Rose (Carlo) and Nancy. Loving Bobba Rose to Alexa (Victor), Cameron (Teaghan), Adriana and Cristina.

  Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Sunday, March 3rd from 3 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m.

  Funeral service will be held at Viva Church, 71 Simcoe Street South, Oshawa on Monday, March 4th at 11:00 a.m. Interment Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens.

  In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Rose to Faith Mission Canada or St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.

Robert M. Dale

July 13, 1928 ~ October 18, 1993

After a lengthy illness, at the Oshawa General Hospital, he went to be with Jesus his Lord and Saviour, on Monday, October 18, 1993, Bob Dale, in his 66th year. Beloved husband of Rose Glowaski.  Dear son of the late Alexander and Nancy Dale. Dear brother of Jim and his wife Phyllis, Alex and his wife Agnes, Jack and his wife Helen, Reggie, David and Norman and his wife Marjorie, all of Banbridge, Northern Ireland. Lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King St. E., Oshawa with funeral service in the chapel on Friday, October 22 at 11 a.m. Interment Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens, Whitby. Memorial donations to the Faith Mission or Gideon Bibles would be appreciated. Visitation Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Oshawa Times, Oct. 20, 1993.
